LATHYRUS

The wild sweet pea is native to Sicily, Cyprus, southern Italy and the Aegean islands. Grows on sunny sandy banks and uses it's tendrils to climb over taller plants and trees. Also found in temperate areas of North and South America, Asia and East Africa.
